Our January Wedding Lineup - My Darling Diary

Our January Wedding Lineup – My Darling Diary

David’s and my main focus this new year has been…yep you guessed it: wedding planning. I always told myself I wouldn’t be one of those brides who goes over and beyond meticulously planning every detail – but once I got in it, I got lost in it (for me – in the most fun and addicting way). It’s an exciting season and although it can be a heavy load, there’re ways to make it all more fun. Here’s a little sneak into everything we’ve been working on over the last two weeks:

  • Choose wedding invitations
  • Ceremony Dress Alterations & Veil Appt
  • Wayfair Wedding Registry
  • Finalize bridesmaid gifting
  • Custom dress fabric for reception
  • Add swim ups to blog post

Phew – it’s a lot, right? Specifically this week, David and I have been working diligently on our registry. I’ve noticed that as a guest, when I’m looking at other couples’ registries, it can feel overwhelming. Not to mention being the bride who has to make the choices. So choosing the right registry is key.

When looking for a registry source, we both found that the Wayfair wedding registry has an incredible variety for the couple who seriously needs it all OR the girl who already has everything. For me (a gal about town who curated most big things in her single 20’s), I have most of the small and big lifestyle and kitchen pieces most couples ask for in a wedding registry. So David and I were thrilled to find pieces like our new Vitamix blender, a KitchenAid mixer, a Dyson vacuum (David can hardly wait for this), a Le Creuset round cast iron dutch oven, non-stick pans, and more at Wayfair. David loves to cook and I love to clean, so you can say we are one happy engaged couple.

Wayfair sent over a few pieces so we could sample some items on the registry. We made some healthy homemade cookie dough in our new Vitamix blender (photos and recipe above :)) and David can’t wait to make homemade chili in the Le Creuset round cast iron dutch oven. Since we love these items so much, we can’t wait for what’s to come.

Wayfair registry is the wedding registry for everything (literally everything) in one place. From a Nespresso machine to gift cards to places like AirBnB and Delta to items from brands like Dyson to Roomba – it’s a no brainer to add Wayfair registry to the wedding lineup.

Make your wedding planning easy and click this link or visit wayfair.com/giftregistry to get started in seconds, and enter code DARLING for an extra $50 credit after your guests buy something from your registry. That’s on top of the 20% discount. The best part? Wayfair offers flexible shipping that lets you ship gifts wherever and whenever you want – so you’re in control and not dealing with anything going to the wrong place or a pile of packages waiting outside your door after the wedding. Happy planning!

Thank you, Wayfair, for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
