Shopping app Her Black Book launches cashback in time for Australian Fashion Week
Premium shopping app Her Black Book has added cashback rewards to its platform ahead of Australian Fashion Week, which kicks off on Monday.
Her Black Book is the brainchild of Sali Sasi and Julie Stevanj, the sisters behind Stylerunner. The pair announced their latest entrepreneurial venture last October, and in February, raised $1.6 million in Seed funding, with ASX-listed Touch Ventures among its backers.
The app is designed to attract and engage Gen Z, Millennials and discerning women who love to shop for fashion and accessories.
Stevanja said the new cashback feature enables brands to give consumers real cash back when they make a purchase during a given promotional window.
“We’re excited to bring cashback rewards to the women of Australia from many of their favourite brands, including Net-A-Porter, Guess, Estee Lauder, SSENSE, ModelCo, Jurlique and many more,” she said.
“Females are making purchases every day across fashion, beauty, travel and homewares and leaving money on the table. Something we are hoping to help bridge through our shopping app.”
Her Black Book is an official partner of Afterpay Australian Fashion Week, which runs from May 9-23.
Stevanja said the timing was perfect to launch their latest incentive and share with people at Fashion Week. For those who can’t be there for the Her Black Book activation, they’ve developed the ‘Shop Australian’ Shopping Festival’ on the app.
“From the comfort of their home and in the palm of their hands, consumers can shop exclusive deals across many iconic Australian brands, including Anna Quan, Lee Mathews, SNDYS, Saturday the Label, Reliquia Jewellery, In the Roundhouse, Naked Sundays,” she said.
More that 500 brands have signed on, and brands can partner directly via Her Black Book’s partner portal, or connect via affiliate channels such as Commission Factory, Awin and Rakuten.
The ‘freemium’ app, available on iOS and Android, allows user to download and browse offers and promotions, including cashback for free, with the option to subscribe to 12, 6, or 3 months for full access to flash sales listings and notifications from preferred brands.
