And this is not the first collab! Nope. Plus size model, La’Tecia Thomas, is back with her second collaboration with the brand. This is extremely exciting and curious, especially as her first one sold out within hours of launch.

“I believe that beauty and style isn’t defined by your size and I’m excited to partner with a brand that shares that belief. Working with Fashion to Figure has been a dream. To be able to express my love for fashion while pushing the important message of body positivity, this second LAB means so much to me.”

La’Tecia Thomas

For this collection, we get three dresses that are inspired by her romantic, carefree, and feminine style.

Has Fashion to Figure Caught Your Attention with These Collaborations?

If you’ve noticed, Fashion to Figure has been a busy bee with their plus size collaborations and it is on purpose! Last March of 2021, Fashion to Figure launched FTFLAB. This project has allowed “more voices, more fashion and exciting new design perspectives into the world of plus-size clothing.”

This initiative has allowed Fashion to Figure to work with a variety of influencers and design creatives to curate and create their own mini capsule collections that reflect their own style.

“We get approached so often with amazing design ideas from our community, FTFLAB is the perfect platform to help champion their entrepreneur spirit and help bring these ideas to life.”

Nick Kaplan, Founder of Fashion to Figure

FTFLAB gives collaborators creative autonomy and positions them to maintain exclusivity of their designs. Not only that, but Fashion to Figure also provides support and mentorship, guiding the development, manufacturing and selling through FashiontoFigure.com.

And it does not stop there! Collaborators will be paid for their partnership, receive a budget for executing marketing visuals and also earn royalties based on sales.

This is a very smart initiative.

By partnering with various influencers, this keeps Fashion to Figure ahead of the curve, style wise, and constantly drives attention and awareness of the brand.

We have also noticed that since they’ve partnered with Tess Holliday, they’ve kept the addition of a size 4. Hopefully we can see them reach into sizes 5 and 6, in the future… This is curious to see, especially with them as a fast fashion brand.
